Our international Team Building project successfully brought together young people for a week full of learning, adventure, cooperation, and unforgettable experiences. Through non-formal education methods, interactive workshops, and cultural activities, participants discovered the true value of teamwork, communication, and mutual understanding.
From the very first day, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and positive energy. Participants introduced themselves, shared their expectations and concerns, and worked together to create a supportive and safe environment where everyone felt heard and respected. It quickly became clear that this project would be much more than just a learning experience — it would become a journey of friendship and personal growth.
During the following days, the young participants took part in a wide variety of team-building activities designed to strengthen communication, trust, leadership, and collaboration skills. Working in international groups allowed them to exchange ideas, overcome challenges together, and better understand the importance of every individual within a team.
One of the highlights of the project was the tandem World Café evening in Razlog, where participants met local people and engaged in meaningful conversations and cultural exchange. The evening created many new friendships and offered a valuable opportunity to connect with the local community.
The project also introduced participants to traditional and classic non-formal education games. Although many of these activities have been used for years in youth work, for most of the young people they were completely new experiences. Their enthusiasm, laughter, and active participation showed how powerful simple interactive methods can be in bringing people together.
The program included not only educational sessions but also dynamic outdoor activities and improvised “Olympic games” that encouraged teamwork, creativity, and positive competition. Participants also had the opportunity to spend time surrounded by nature, explore the beautiful towns of Bansko and Razlog, and enjoy a memorable trip on the Rhodope narrow-gauge railway with its stunning mountain views.
The final stage of the project focused on reflection and evaluation. Participants shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, expressing gratitude for the knowledge gained, the friendships created, and the inspiring moments experienced throughout the week.
This project proved once again that non-formal education can create powerful opportunities for young people to learn, connect, and grow together beyond borders, cultures, and differences.
