From April 14 to 20, 2026, the team of the Association “International Initiatives for Cooperation” successfully implemented an international youth exchange within the Erasmus+ Programme, as part of our Key Action 1 Youth accreditation. The project “Intercultural Communication and Identity” supported participants in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for effective interaction in a diverse cultural environment.
During the exchange, participants explored different cultural perspectives, traditions, and values, gaining a deeper understanding of how these influence communication and social interaction. They reflected on their own personal and cultural identities and examined how their experiences shape their attitudes, behaviors, and communication styles. They also developed intercultural communication skills such as active listening, empathy, and respectful dialogue, while learning to recognize and challenge stereotypes and prejudices. Through group activities, they strengthened teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills in multicultural teams, fostering mutual understanding, openness, and respect.
From April 22 to 26, 2026, the team also carried out an international mobility of youth workers under the Erasmus+ Programme, again as part of our Key Action 1 Youth accreditation. The project “Towards Sustainable Lifestyle” focused on building knowledge and skills related to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Participants explored the concept of sustainability in depth and adopted habits for a more sustainable way of life. They improved their green skills, developed ideas for sustainability-related projects, and strengthened their role as active contributors to environmental protection. The training also provided opportunities for participants to connect, learn from one another, and collaborate in an international context.
Through both activities, participants gained valuable experience, practical tools, and confidence to apply their new knowledge and skills in their daily lives, education, professional development, and civic engagement.
