On March 17, some of the young people from the Green YOUth Change Makers project of the Youth Information Center, Karlovo, participated in another interesting green event in the village of Kliment, where the Green Balkans association has built a base to increase the population of the white-capped kestrel. This is a bird from the Falcon family, threatened to be extincted.
🐦🛖Together with Kliment’s children, they got acquainted with the life of this interesting bird, observed the birds on the base on special cameras and made houses for other small city birds. They also received a house, which they will install on the large tree in the yard of the Youth Information Centre-Karlovo
All participants received certificates, posters and other informational materials about the great kestrel from Green Balkans association, with whom future joint green initiatives are planned.
