From October 27 to November 2, 2025, the team of the association “International Initiatives for Cooperation” and the Bulgarian Youth Association hosted the project “EU & Me”, which brought together thirty young people from Ireland and Bulgaria in the picturesque village of Banya, Municipality of Razlog. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

During the working sessions, we explored what it means to be part of Europe – with all the advantages, challenges, and opportunities it brings.

Throughout the week, participants exchanged ideas, learned from one another, and formed new friendships.

The topics we worked on included:

How EU Are You? – Who am I as a European citizen?

Connecting with Nature & Clean – Caring for the environment and sustainable living.

YouthPass – What we learned and how we grew during the exchange.

Climate Change in Europe – The climate challenges facing Europe and the role of young people.

Besides the workshops, we shared countless unforgettable moments – traditional food, music, culture, and lots of smiles.

We all left Banya with new friends, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be an active European citizen.
