The project has demonstrated something important: when people have the opportunity to choose, they choose to participate. A total of <strong>8,124 people<\/strong> took part in the voting process, casting their votes for civic initiatives they would like to see implemented in their communities. The voting closed on <strong>31 July<\/strong>. Following the processing of the votes and a verification of their eligibility, the initiatives selected for funding were identified. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 10 August, the 15 winning civic initiatives were officially announced: \u00a010 initiatives in Haskovo Municipality<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>5 initiatives in Stambolovo Municipality<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selected ideas will be brought to life this autumn with the active involvement of local communities, volunteers, and the people who believed in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are more than just projects.
