{"id":894,"date":"2026-08-28T09:53:48","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T09:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alfbg.net\/?p=894"},"modified":"2026-08-28T10:01:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T10:01:16","slug":"youth4democracy-act4climate-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alfbg.net\/index.php\/2026\/08\/28\/youth4democracy-act4climate-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth4Democracy: #Act4Climate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our colleagues from <strong>Parallel-Silistra Association<\/strong> have successfully completed the Youth4Democracy: #Act4Climate project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the project, young people and partner organisations from Bulgaria, Finland, Italy and Portugal<strong> <\/strong>came together around one common idea: democracy and active citizenship go hand in hand with caring for our planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project was coordinated by Dr. Diana Bebenova-Nikolova from Parallel-Silistra Association (Bulgaria), in partnership with Associazione Scienze Naturali Unite APS (Italy), United Visi<strong>o<\/strong>n ry<strong> <\/strong>(Finland), and Intensify World \u2013 Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Tecnol\u00f3gica e Recreativa (Portugal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0What did they achieve together?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a08 youth workers and 16 young volunteers developed their knowledge and skills in the areas of democracy, climate action, inclusion and digital storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a060 young people took part in local activities and initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;More than <strong>200 young people<\/strong>, including young people at risk of social exclusion, were reached through the project activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partners developed <strong>educational resources<\/strong>, including interactive games and workshops on topics such as democracy, European citizenship, climate and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0One of the key outcomes of the project is the Youth4Democracy Toolkit \u2013 a practical resource featuring games, workshops and educational activities for youth workers, trainers and educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Toolkit helps young people explore democracy, European values and human rights<strong>, <\/strong>while connecting these topics with environmental responsibility and climate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Toolkit gould be found on the webpage of the Parallel-Silistra Association: <a href=\"https:\/\/paralel-silistra.net\/youth4democracy\/news\/\">https:\/\/paralel-silistra.net\/youth4democracy\/news\/<\/a> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alfbg.net\/index.php\/tag\/anna-lindh-foundation\/\">Anna Lindh Foundation<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our colleagues from Parallel-Silistra Association have successfully completed the Youth4Democracy: #Act4Climate project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
