{"id":570,"date":"2024-04-24T07:23:31","date_gmt":"2024-04-24T07:23:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alfbg.net\/?p=570"},"modified":"2024-04-24T07:23:32","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T07:23:32","slug":"youth-center-karlovo-celebrated-earth-day-with-another-eco-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alfbg.net\/index.php\/2024\/04\/24\/youth-center-karlovo-celebrated-earth-day-with-another-eco-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Center &#8211; Karlovo Celebrated Earth Day with Another Eco Action"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"file:\/\/192.168.0.252\/server\/Anna%20Lindh%20Foundation\/2024%20NES\/News%20April_May_2024\/Tzvetina\/Earth%20Day\/\u041c\u043b\u0430\u0434\u0435\u0436\u043a\u0438%20\u0438\u043d\u0444\u043e\u0440\u043c\u0430\u0446\u0438\u043e\u043d\u0435\u043d%20\u0446\u0435\u043d\u0442\u044a\u0440-\u041a\u0430\u0440\u043b\u043e\u0432\u043e\/%20Youth%20Information%20Centre-%20Karlovo\">Youth Information Center- Karlovo<\/a> celebrated Earth Day (April 22) with another eco-action, this time in the beautiful nature of the &#8220;Momini gurdi&#8221; (translated lady\u2019s breasts) area above the village of Beguntsi, Karlovo municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The youngsters started their eco-walk from the letters &#8220;I love Beguntsi&#8221; and the sign for the eco-path, which local youth put up in 2022 within a project of the Youth Center, supported by the European Youth Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The beautiful eco-path passes through the two &#8220;lady\u2019s breasts&#8221;, with the local residents placing a cross on one peak, and a pylon with the Bulgarian flag on the other. In places there are benches and a beautiful gazebo &#8220;perched&#8221; on a hill with great views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beguntsi City Hall and local residents happily supported the youth initiative by providing guides for the eco-trail, and grandmother Velka from the village supported the participants with freshly popped popcorn and sweets for the journey. The young people, in turn, donated a first aid kit and two signs to be place along the eco-path to remind tourists to keep our beautiful nature clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fortunately, the young ecoreactors have not found much waste along the eco-trail, instead enjoyed beautiful views of the Rose Valley, spring foliage, beautiful forest flowers and an outdoor picnic at the village hunting lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this eco-action &#8220;Youth and Civic Initiatives in the Rose Valley&#8221; concludes its &#8220;Young Ecoreactors&#8221; project, supported by Vivacom regional grant 2023, but not the eco initiatives and its aspiration to maintain the love for nature among young people and their desire to keep it clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find more information for activities of Youth and Civil Initiatives in the Rose Valley in their Facebook page:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mgirdrosevalley\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mgirdrosevalley\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alfbg.net\/index.php\/2023\/07\/31\/call-for-guitar-players\/#AnnaLindhFoundation\">#AnnaLindhFoundation<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Youth Information Center- Karlovo celebrated Earth Day (April 22) with another eco-action, this time in the beautiful nature of the &#8220;Momini gurdi&#8221; (translated lady\u2019s breasts) area above the village of Beguntsi, Karlovo municipality.
