From May 24 to May 30, 2025, the team of the association International Initiatives for Cooperation successfully implemented an international youth exchange under the Erasmus+ programme. This project is part of our accreditation in Key Action 1, Youth Sector.
The central aim of the exchange was to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and its excessive use on our planet. With growing environmental concerns worldwide, the project brought together young people to explore and discuss sustainable alternatives in a meaningful and engaging way.
The exchange gathered participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, and North Macedonia. Throughout the week, we offered a variety of dynamic and interactive activities using non-formal education methods. These activities empowered participants to dive deep into critical subtopics related to the plastic problem, such as microplastics, the concept of recycling, and potential long-term solutions.
Through teamwork, discussions, creative workshops, and practical learning experiences, the young participants not only gained valuable knowledge but also built international friendships and developed a shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
This project is a testament to how Erasmus+ exchanges can inspire young minds to become informed, active citizens working towards a greener, more sustainable future.
