The moment has come to witness the results of the collaborative efforts of the musicians who brought the project “Mediterranean Rhythms” to life.

On April 26 at 5:30 PM, the talented musicians Antonio Ferrara (oud and vocals), Tanyo Pavlov (clarinet and vocals), and Georgi Edrev (tambura and vocals) will take you on a journey through the sounds of Arabic and Balkan music.

The concert will take place at the “Second Home” Ukrainian Refugee Center in Plovdiv.

In addition to their joint performance, each of the artists participating in the concert will showcase their individual creative work. Antonio Ferrara will present the charm of Arabic folklore, while Tanyo Pavlov and Georgi Edrev will highlight the richness of Balkan music, with a special focus on Bulgarian folk traditions. The audience will have the opportunity to discover the fascinating connections and interweavings between these two musical traditions, which have evolved and enriched one another over the centuries.

This concert is the culmination of an intensive creative exchange made possible thanks to the support of the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation and its ALFinMotion program. Through this valuable opportunity, the “Mediterranean Rhythms” project aims to promote intercultural dialogue and emphasize our shared musical heritage in the Mediterranean region.
