For a sixth consecutive year the Youth and Civic Initiatives in the Rose Valley welcomed 150 of their French friends from Europ’Raid, who arrived in 35 Peugeot 205 cars loaded with 100 kilograms of donations of school, stationery and sports materials for the children from the municipality of Karlovo.

The Vasil Levski Stadium in Karlovo was once again the venue for a celebration of friendship and solidarity on August 16, with which the city’s youth centre also celebrated International Youth Day 2024.

Following what was learned during the project of the Youth Centre “Go Green in Sport”, the participants of the event were encouraged to always leave the sports grounds clean after their events – all waste was collected, and the plastic water bottles were collected for the “Shisho” bottle-eater in the courtyard of the Youth Centre.

Romanian friends and volunteers from the European Youth Centre in Bucharest also came to help.

The young volunteers of Karlovo are going to distribute the donation from Europ’Raid to the kindergartens, schools and social centres in the municipality.
