With a series of eco-initiatives, the team from the Karlovo Youth Center marked Forest Week. The campaign has been held since 1925 from April 1 to 7, and this year it celebrates its 100th anniversary under the motto “100 Years of Care for the Bulgarian Forest.”

Environmentally conscious young people planted over 40 trees, which were provided by Gorata.bg, in the town of Karlovo and the village of Begunitsa. We congratulate them on the great example they are setting!

In addition to organizing green initiatives, the colleagues from the Youth Center and their volunteers also visited the “Longevity” /“Dalgoletie” club in the village of Karlievo, Zlatitsa Municipality, where they discussed the importance of forest conservation, planting nectar-producing trees and flower beds to help protect bees.

You can find detailed information about each of the initiatives on the team’s Facebook page.
